OIL TANK DISTRIBUTION IMPACT

On Sunday, a fire at a Pertamina oil tank in the Cilacap refinery in Central Java was successfully put out. Despite the incident, authorities from Pertamina, Indonesia's state-owned oil and gas firm, assured that fuel supply and distribution in Java was unaffected.

TRADE SURPLUS IN OCTOBER

Indonesia has managed to register a surplus in its balance of trade for the month of October for the second time. According to the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the country had a trade surplus of US$5.73 billion in October 2021.

UAE-INDONESIA INVESTMENTS

The government has successfully secured investment commitments worth $44.6 billion from the United Arab Emirates. This includes UAE investments into Indonesian port development and coal downstreaming industry.

Bulog Nutrition Care Program

750 toddlers and elderlies in the Simpenan district, in Sukabumi, West Java took part in a free medical checkup held by Perum Bulog, which aims to reduce the number of stunting cases. Bulog also distributed 2,238 healthy food packages to help improve the public’s nutritional level.
